History of Sno-King

Sno-King Amateur Hockey Association has been in existence since 1964. Through this period of time, we have enjoyed many successful accomplishments. Our various teams have won many Western U.S. Regional tournaments and the United States Nationals. Our trophy cases are filled with Championship trophies from all over North America. Sno-King currently has over 600 skaters ages 5-18 years old, competing at various levels of play from mites to midgets.

We have teams competing in local and state leagues. Sno-King’s PeeWee, Bantam and Midget A & B teams play in the Pacific Coast League throughout Canada. Many Sno-King players have advanced to the Junior, College, National Team and Professional ranks.

We used our now defunct Bingo Game to raise funds to buy a grocery store and convert it into Kingsgate Arena, which opened as a rink in January of 1991. Since that time we have hosted many tournaments.

In November of 2000 we opened our newest facility in Renton, now known as Sno-King Ice Arena Renton.  It is located in the Renton Highlands area and has opened many opportunities for new families to get involved in the Greatest Sport on Earth.
