3,500 Seat Arena with Dual NHL Ice Retail and Community Park

The Milberger Architectural Group teamed with Dewitt-Tisshman Architects to create schematics for the Community Center Design for Passaic, New Jersey.  Eric Milberger combined his expertise for Arena and gathering spaces with the Retail experience of Peter Dewitt.  The 215,00 sf complex would have been the Hockey and Arena venue for the area.

Ice Rink Designer - Eric Milberger  | created Castle Ice in 2005 for Trace Development.

The arena is “truly a site for sore eyes.”  Briarwood Shopping Center was a small retail mall which had fallen to disrepair and was a detriment to the community’s image. The Milberger Architectural Group proposed, to Trace and Associates, that they construct an skating Arena as an anchor for the shopping complex.  Created by the Nations Leading Ice Rink Designer - The Milberger Architectural Group  

The Ice House | Quad Ice Arena

Quad NHL Sheet Ice Arena  |  THE ICE HOUSE

The Hackensack based ICE HOUSE is the practice site for many NHL Hockey teams, home for Oksana Baiul and the “The Late Show”, David Letterman’s 1998 Olympic Zamboni Races.  This eleven-million dollar skating arena was completed in 1998 and houses four official size NHL sheets to serve over nine million people within a 30 minute drive.
